A dim, dated family living room reimagined as a warm, layered lounge with floor-to-ceiling drapery and rich jewel-tone accents.

We softened the tall window wall with full-height sheers and pinch-pleat drapery, swapped heavy black leather for a light-toned sectional, and introduced a burgundy velvet accent chair, a stone coffee table, a brass arc lamp and a vintage-inspired rug to bring warmth, height and comfort to the space.
